Walter Johnson is VP and Senior Counsel at CA Technologies. He was a member of Farrell Fritz’s Litigation and Employment departments from 1999 to 2004.
What have you been up to since you left Farrell Fritz?
I was in-house legal counsel at the Long Island Railroad (2004 to 2009) before joining CA Technologies in 2009.
What do you do in your down time?
I enjoy reading, playing fantasy sports and coaching my daughter’s intramural soccer team.
Share one fun fact about yourself that your fellow alums may not know about you.
I’m two degrees of Kevin Bacon. I acted in a CA training video alongside a professional actor who appeared with Kevin on a TV show.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being a dad to my beautiful daughters: Haley (age 12) and Jessica (age 8).
Who is your hero? Why?
One of my heroes is Jackie Robinson. He was a pioneer and civil rights activist, who displayed incredible courage and perseverance. His debut for the Brooklyn Dodger was an important moment in baseball and in American history.
Do you have any pets?
A cat named Lola.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Start a charitable foundation.
